PERAN PENDIDIKAN PRAMUKA DALAM MEMBENTUK JIWA KEPEMIMPINAN

Abstract


Abstract. This research aims to analyze the important role of Scout Education in forming a leadership spirit in the younger generation. As a form of non-formal education, the Scout Movement provides inclusive opportunities regardless of student background. The main focus of Scout education is to form character, skills and noble values in students, in accordance with national education goals. Leadership is recognized as one of the key elements for the success of an organization, and Scouts provide a positive impact in the formation of leaders through the application of values such as Satya, Darma, Tri Satya, and Dasa Darma. This research method uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods to determine the role of Scout Education in forming a leadership spirit. Data is collected through journal references and other sources, then analyzed to be presented in research. The type of research used is qualitative with a focus on descriptive data. The research results show that Scout education plays an important role in shaping the character and leadership spirit of the younger generation through scouting values. This research identified four main problem formulations, namely the importance of Scout Education in character formation, scouting values as a moral foundation, leadership education, and the application of scouting values in developing a leadership spirit. With a focus on honesty, responsibility and cooperation, this education provides a strong moral foundation for future leaders, while also providing students with the opportunity to hone their leadership skills. This research aims to provide in-depth insight into the role of Scout Education in forming a spirit of moral leadership and integrity in the younger generation.
