NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM FILOSOFI TARI SINTREN KUDO BEKSO UTOMO KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the value of character education in Kudo Bekso Utomo sintren dance, Pekalongan Regency. This research uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at Kudo Bekso Utomo Sintren Studio located in Pringsurat Village, Kajen District, Pekalongan Regency. Determination of subjects in this study using purposive techniques by considering criteria that are in accordance with the topic of discussion. The subjects of the study were (1) Head of the Kudo Bekso Utomo sintren studio and (2) Culturalist and trainer of the Kudo Bekso Utomo sintren. Data collection is carried out through interview, observation and documentation techniques by checking the validity of data using triangulation techniques from the three data sources. Data analysis in this study uses inductive techniques through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that culture has relevance to the development of character education. The implementation of Kudo Bekso Utomo sintren dance in terms of various movements, song verses, clothing, rituals and stages contains 13 character education values.
