LITERASI DIGITAL WARGA NEGARA MUDA: PEMANFAATAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BAGI MAHASISWA
Abstract
One of the components in digital citizenship is digital literacy which includes four pillars, namely ethics, culture, security, and proficiency in digital media. Technological advances such as the rampant use of AI today demand an increase in digital literacy competencies to optimize opportunities and minimize challenges that arise as a result. Students as young citizens, including the most dominant AI users, need to improve these competencies so that the use of AI still prioritizes ethics and responsibility. This study aims to find out how strategies in utilizing AI for students can be one of the efforts to improve their digital literacy. The method in this study is the research method of literature studies conducted by examining various literature studies that are needed in the study. The source of data to be referenced in this study is the source of relevant literature as a source of primary data and secondary data sources. The results showed that the strategy of utilizing AI for students can be done through strengthening AI literacy includes AI concept, AI application, AI to effectiveness of human emotion, AI safety and security, responsible AI usage. Self-reflection, compliance with laws, academic and ethical regulations, and awareness of potential risks also need to be done to determine the extent of competence in the use of AI starting from the stage of understanding, application and creation. Where each stage is taking into account aspects of human centered mindset, ethic of AI, AI technique and application, AI system design. There are several dilemmas in the opinion that the use of AI raises the question of ownership, who actually owns the work - students or AI.
