PENANAMAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN DAN PEDULI SOSIAL MELALUI PROGRAM ADIWIYATA DI SMP NEGERI 3 PONOROGO

Abstract


This research aims to determine the cultivation of environmentally caring character and social caring character through the Adwiyata program at SMP Negeri 3 Ponorogo. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were the principal, Adiwiyata team coordinator, teachers, 6 students who were used as informants. Data collection techniques through interviews. The results of the research show that providing an overview of SMP Negeri 3 Ponorogo has instilled an environmentally caring character and a socially caring character through the Adiwiyata program by providing habituation, direction and understanding to students. Some students already have the character of caring for the environment and the character of social care, which can be seen from the students' implementation. There are obstacles and solutions faced by schools, namely, it is found that some students do not reflect this character, there are actions in the form of sanctions for students who do not reflect this character. The school is trying to find a solution to include students in small groups, as well as provide understanding and habituation to students to instill environmentally caring and socially caring characters through the Adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 3 Ponorogo.
