UPAYA PENGUATAN PENGUATAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN PPKN KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 1 SRAGI, PEKALONGAN, JAWA TENGAH

Abstract


Religious character is a character related to the practice of the teachings and
beliefs of each student. The background of this research is because there are many foreign
cultures that have a negative effect on the development of students' religious character,
such as the many children who disobey their parents, the circulation of liquor and drugs,
free sex, brawls, and other criminal acts. The purpose of this study is to determine the
strengthening of the religious character of students through learning PPKn Class X at
SMA Negeri 1 Sragi, Pekalongan, Central Java. This research is a descriptive qualitative
research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation.
The research subjects were school principals, curriculum representatives, Civic
Education teachers and students. The object of this research is to know the Strengthening
of the Religious Character of Students through Class X PPKn Learning at SMA Negeri 1
Sragi, Pekalongan, Central Java. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data
reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate
that Strengthening the Religious Character of Students through Civics Learning for Class
X at SMA Negeri 1 Sragi, Pekalongan, Central Java is carried out through 3 stages,
namely (1) Planning to strengthen the religious character of students by integrating it
through a lesson plan prepared by the Civics teacher. (2) Implementation of Civics
Learning for Strengthening the Religious Character of Class X students is carried out by
optimizing the role of the Civics Teacher in implementing the Learning Implementation
Plan (RPP) and (3) Evaluation of Civics Learning for Strengthening Students' Religious
Character consists of assignments to students, then the teacher also provide an evaluation
related to the implementation of learning at the meeting
