Abstract. This study aims to determine: 1) how to empower student organizations in preventing radicalism; and 2) what is the level of resistance to the Pancasila ideology among students in of Surakarta State Senior High School 4. This researchwas conducted at the religious student organization of Surakarta State Senior High School 4.Which includes Islamic Spirituality, Christian Spirituality, and Catholic Spirituality. This study used a qualitative method with the researcher using a qualitative descriptive approach and the sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection used interviews, observation, document study, and questionnaires. The data validity test used the data triangulation analysis model and the method triangulation. The conclusions of the research results: a) The effort to empower student organizations to prevent radicalism carried out by the school is protecting empowerment with communication and coordination between the school and the organizational management. Every activity that is carried out will be coordinated before it is approved by the school. Schools have special requirements that must be met by the management of the organization so that their activities are approved; b) Efforts to empower student organizations in order to prevent radicalism that are carried out by organizational management are enabling development. Organizational activities are developed to be positive and always prioritize the value of tolerance in their implementation, especially those related to religious activities; c) Synergy in organizational empowerment can be said to be very good. This is evidenced by the coordination and communication that exists between the organization's management and the school, in this case the Student Assistant in carrying out organizational activities; d) In general, the positive impact felt by students in efforts to empower student organizations is related to creativity, self-confidence and understanding of nationalism and religious teachings. This can be seen in the ability of students to develop their organization. Students are given the freedom to innovate and be creative; e) The resistance of the Pancasila ideology among students at Surakarta State Senior High School 4 which is based on the indicators chosen based on special considerations shows the resilience of "Very Tough".
