Abstract


Abstract. The purpose of this research is to (1) find out the pplication of problem-based learning models in the 2013 curriculum in PPKn subjects as an effort to form a democratic attitude for students (2) to find out the obstacles faced in applying problembased learning models in PPKn subjects as an effort to form attitudes democratic students (3) know the solution to the constraints of implementing the problem-based learning model in the 2013 curriculum on the PPKn subject as an effort to form the democratic attitudes of students. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The results of the research can be concluded as follows, 1) The application of problem-based learning models in the 2013 curriculum as an effort to form a democratic attitude is carried out in 3 stages, namely: (a) Problem-based learning planning (b) Implementation of problem-based learning as an effort to form students' democratic attitudes by dividing students into discussion groups to analyze the problem: (c) Evaluation of problem-based learning carried out by the teacher, namely individual and group assessments 2) Constraints faced in applying problem-based learning models, namely Teacher Constraints and Student Constraints, 3) Solutions to problems in applying the model Problem-based learning as an effort to form students' democratic attitudes, namely (a) The teacher is more assertive with students and provides rewards to students who actively ask questions (b) Students are always trained to be brave in expressing opinions, and given motivation (c) Students are given special attention by being evaluated one by one.
