Abstract


Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of human resources for the lecturers of Bantara Sukoharjo University in an effort to face the industrial revolution 4.0. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subject is a lecturer at the university of Bantara, Sukoharjo, and the object is the development of human resources, work partnerships, and industrial revolution 4.0. The data analysis technique uses qualitative analysis techniques which consist of 4 steps, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed that the lecturer-centered learning process caused the lecture method to be more dominant, textual learning, the teaching style of the lecturer was monotonous, the method was less varied, the language used was difficult to understand, the lecturer saw students as only objects, the lecturers did not respect student differences in opinion, passive students, students do not have the courage to express their opinions, students lack focus. The impact is that students' absorption of learning material is low.
