Penerapan Metode Debat Make a Match (DMM) Pada Pembelajaran PPKn Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Di Kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Banyudono
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes through the make a match (DMM) debate method in class VIII G of SMP Negeri 1 Banyudono. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out two cycles, each cycle consisting of (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) cycle observation, and (4) reflection. The subjects of this study were students in class VIII G which consisted of 35 students. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and interviews The data validity test technique in this study uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate an increase in the percentage of mastery of student learning outcomes in accordance with the achievement indicators from pre-action, cycle I, and cycle II. This research determines the completeness achievement indicator at 75%. In the pre-action period, average student learning outcomes were 67.57%. In cycle I, student learning outcomes increased to 73.85%. In cycle II, there was also an increase in student learning outcomes to 80.42%. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that there was an increase in learning outcomes through the application of the Make a Match (DMM).
